Steam are set to launch a cricket themed promotion, dubbed ‘The Vintage Performance’ for wine brand, Wolf Blass. This is designed to run alongside their sponsorship of 5’s cricket coverage this summer including the nPower Ashes series.

The campaign, offers consumers the chance to win a series of VIP Ashes-themed prizes including the chance to meet former England player Darren Gough.

Over 6,000 POS kits to highlight the tie-in have been produced to highlight the cricket tie-in and will also be available in supermarkets and convenience stores.

The decision to sponsor the Ashes series follows Wolf Blass’ decision in January to renew its sponsorship as the official wine of England rugby and official supplier to the Rugby Football Union.
